HOLTON, Kan. – Mill Creek, LLC has obtained certification as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) granted by the Mountain Plains Minority Supplier Development Council. The MBE certification is a program, benefiting for-profit businesses that are at least 51% owned by a racial or ethnic minority. Mill Creek is eligible for this certification as a subsidiary of Prairie Band, LLC, wholly owned by the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.

The MBE certification gives Mill Creek access to corporate purchasing agents, networking events, searchable supplier databases, affordable consulting services, technology programs, and introductions to nationally known corporations. This status will also help Mill Creek continue to build on its current success, as corporations seek out business partners with MBE certification to help meet supplier diversity goals.

“Mill Creek is ready to take full advantage of the opportunities MBE certification offers. Over our years of experience, Mill Creek has established itself as a leader in the initial outfitting and transition planning industry, and we will continue to do so moving forward,” said Mill Creek Vice President Jennifer Hansford.

In addition to MBE status, Mill Creek is a certified 8(a), HUBZone small business.

Mill Creek specializes in the outfitting of furniture, fixtures, equipment, and technology (FFE&T), medical equipment planning, space planning, transition planning, move management, interior design, and procurement, for healthcare, government, and private sector clients across the nation. With over 150 years of industry experience, Mill Creek’s staff includes transition planners who are well-versed in working with all parties to relocate personnel and equipment, while minimizing operational disruption.
