The State of California Auditor's Office multi-phased office relocation project relocated more than 180 personnel from 555 Capitol Mall to the US Bank Tower Building, 621 Capitol Mall. The Auditor was directed to re-use all existing furniture and equipment at the existing facility and restructure staffing work groups at the new facility. This required the temporary move of approximately 50% of staff to allow for de-installation of cubicles and reinstallation into modified configurations at the new facility. Our team developed a complex phasing schedule that accounted for these challenges and minimized down time for staff. She developed detailed scopes of work for the vendors required, and provided a comparative analysis of the bids to assist the auditor in selecting a move vendor.
