Mill Creek managed the move and transition of the Surgery and Labor & Delivery departments for renovations. Mill Creek started with on-site meetings with the impacted departments (Surgery and Labor & Delivery) to gather "faces to spaces" data, create a comprehensive detailed schedule and work plan for detailed planning implementation and to identify transition issues with accountability mechanisms. This allows us to develop a strategy to accomplish the milestone schedule work plan and develop a department-by-department move schedule for each phase based on clinical and operational requirements.

Mill Creek's Transition Planner worked with the departmental transition leadership to finalize department move plans, move spreadsheet, activity schedule, move schedule and support service plans. The detailed plans provided the key actions necessary for each activity transitioning to a temporary, followed by a permanent space. These documents address physical relocation, operational and staffing issues relevant to preparing the department to deliver quality patient care from the first day of operation. During the Turnover & Closeout Phase, Mill Creek worked with key staff to create a plan for post-occupancy issue management and resolution.
