Mill Creek provided transition planning, move management and equipment receiving services for the new VSP Optical Laboratory. This is the largest optical lab in the world at 80,000 SF, running six-day, three-shift manufacturing operations. Mill Creek completed comprehensive equipment, furniture and materials inventory, including tagging and tracking of all assets. The intricate project schedule minimized manufacturing downtime, and our transition planning team created a detailed move plan that moved the main lab in just three days. The relocation was completed successfully, and all scheduling requirements among multiple vender installations were met on time and within budget.
